Dr. Kafaji evaluates patients to diagnose and initiate treatment for a wide range of neurological conditions, including seizure disorders, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, MS, neuropathies, ALS, strokes, dystonias, and migraines. He has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatments of migraines and related headaches and offers botox treatments for migraine and cervical dystonia. Dr. Kafaji also is particularly skilled in evaluating and treating spinal disease, often utilizing treatments such as therapeutic steroid injections.
The practice has offices located in Waldorf and Mechanicsville, MD. Dr. Kafaji has been practicing Neurology in Southern Maryland for nearly two decades and he is an excellent diagnostician, with unrivaled attention to patients’ symptoms. His clinical experience and background training has made him one of the most effective and sought-after neurologists in complex neurological disorders and spinal disease in Southern Maryland.
Jennifer Wade received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2007 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Towson University in 2010. She began her nursing career at Johns Hopkins Hospital on the cardiolgy unit where she cared for critically ill patients. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University in 2014. Jennifer has practiced in Southern Maryland for over half a decade where she has culminated strong relationships with her patients and provided the highest quality healthcare. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care, endocrinology, and worked in the formerly known Neurology clinic up until recently. We are proud to have had her join our team at St. Mary’s Neurology and Spine and we believe her expertise will be paramount to us bringing the best services to our patients.
